My mother took us last week to watch “Inside Out 2”
Five Emotions which were in “Inside Out”, I watched in 2015, when I was just 4 or 5 and must have enjoyed it because it was animation. Now I realised the emotions shown then:
- Joy: Keeps Riley happy.
- Sadness: Helps Riley deal with sad times.
- Anger: Helps Riley express when things are unfair.
- Fear: Keeps Riley safe.
- Disgust: Helps Riley avoid gross or embarrassing things.
As Riley moves from being a kid to a teenager, her emotions change and become more complicated. This is normal and part of growing up. The new emotions in “Inside Out 2” show the new feelings that come with being a teen.
- Anxiety: Worries about the future and helps Riley prepare.
- Envy: Makes Riley feel jealous and helps her understand what she wants.
- Ennui: Represents boredom. (I need to get out of his, as all my friends keep getting bored)
- Embarrassment: Makes Riley feel awkward in embarrassing moments.
I am 13 now, it has the perfect timing for me and I am looking forward to experience these. I guess, it’s normal and part of my growing up.
I was introduced to the idea of “self” in “Inside Out” is about knowing that all your emotions and experiences make you who you are. Accepting all your feelings, even the tough ones, helps you be a complete person
My mother’s wisdom on “How to Deal with my Emotions”
- Notice Your Feelings: Don’t ignore your emotions. Recognize what you’re feeling and why.
- Talk About It: Share your feelings with someone you trust. Talking helps you understand and manage your emotions.
- Find Healthy Outlets: Do activities that help you deal with emotions, like drawing, writing, or playing sports.
- Practice Self-Care: Take care of your body and mind by sleeping well, eating healthy, and taking breaks when needed.
- It’s okay to feel different emotions. Understanding them helps you deal with life better.
I highly recommend this great watch to all my friends.
